Thales

A charging infrastructure concept is being developed for the parking areas and multi-storey car parks. The energy supply and the charging infrastructure itself are to be modular and expandable so that they can be easily expanded at a later date. The operating and billing concept should enable (semi)-public operation of the charging infrastructure with different tariffs for employees, customers and the public and separate billing. Different supply variants (supply via low-voltage or alternatively medium-voltage connection), alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC) distribution as well as AC or DC charging points will be investigated and compared in terms of costs, economic efficiency, energy losses and CO2 savings.

Electromobility at regional level

Cities and communities must prepare themselves at an early stage for the electrification of traffic and want to set an example for their inhabitants in the future topic of electromobility at the same time. An electromobility concept will shed light on new forms of mobility, identify electrified mobility hubs, identify synergies by involving local actors and analyse locations for charging infrastructure in order to be able to offer convenient charging options.
